Bettorlogic 's list of the strongest trends for the World Cup qualifiers on Saturday, provided some valuable clues to the weekend results. Here are the revised stats.

Holland national team

 

Denmark (won 3-0) are still unbeaten on the road since 1990 against Europe’s weaker nations after Saturday's match, winning seven times in nine attempts versus teams with a Bettorlogic ranking of 90+.

Hungary (won 1-0) had lost seven consecutive away games in competitive football before their narrow victory in Malta last October, a result that the Magyars followed up with another win on the road last weekend.

Greece (drew 1-1) remain unbeaten on the road in qualifiers since the start of the Euro 2008 qualification campaign, after Saturday's draw. Greece have W7-D2-L0 in that sample.

Luxembourg (lost 4-0) have earned just one point in 33 home games in World Cup and Euro qualifying games since 1996.

Latvia (won 4-0) are now W7-D1-L1 away to teams ranked 125+.

Moldova (lost 2-0) have failed to win at home in 18 attempts when hosting teams ranked 1-33 in competitive football, managing just three draws in that time.

Czech Republic (drew 0-0) are W13-D5-L3 away from home in qualification campaigns since 2002.

Germany (won 4-0) are W11-D1-L0 at home to teams ranked 65+ since re-unification.

Nine of Wales’ (lost 2-0) 11 home games against teams ranked 31-61 since 1994 have featured less than three goals.

Russia
  (won 2-0) have won all 20 home games against teams ranked 54+, and lost only once in 44 matches against all-comers post-Soviet Union (W32-D11-L1).

Spain (won 1-0) are worthy European champions and have W18-D2-L0 in all competitive matches, including the Euro 2008 finals since the start of 2007. Moreover, Spain have lost just once on home soil in competitive matches since late October 1991 (W40-D4-L1).

Romania (lost 2-3) have settled the + 2.5 goals market in seven of their nine home games since the start of the Euro 2008 qualification process.

Lithuania (lost 1-0) have faced top 12 ranking teams at home in competitive football ten times now and have never scored a goal.

Republic of Ireland (led 1-0 H/T) have been all-square at the break in 13 of 19 home games against teams inside the top 55 bettorlogic rankings.

Cyprus
(won 2-1) are unbeaten on home soil in competitive football since 1993 against teams ranked 50+, winning nine  of their 13 matches.

Netherlands (won 3-0) are W19-D3-L0 at home in competitive matches since 2001; the Dutch have WW 18 of those 19 victories, and won-to-nil 17 times.
